Guacamole

Philosophy / Story

The word Guacamole comes from the Aztec language Nahuatl and means the sauce of the Aguacate or Avocado fruit. That’s right it’s a fruit!  We use a simple classic recipe that hasn’t changed in 100’s of years.  Each morning, we take fresh avocados, delicately slice them in half and gently remove the green flesh which we refer to as ‘Green Gold’, and mix in diced onions, tomato, coriander, lime juice and salt. That’s it, nada mas!

Interesting Fact:  Guacamole was once referred to as poor man’s butter.  How times have changed!
